Inspired by presentations and discussions during the OilDoc Varnish Symposium, the series uses varnish-related topics as a starting point for a broader discussion about interpretation, uncertainty and decision-making in industrial applications. The articles were originally written for publication in Smeeroliekroniek (SMOK), the magazine of the Dutch Association of Lubricant Manufacturers (VSN).
